ASU Aeronautical Training Facility
Located near the San Angelo Regional Airport, this 8,794 square foot flight training facility at Angelo State University consists of classrooms and flight simulators. The facility consists of three large educational classrooms that can accommodate approximately 35 students each, a large assembly/lecture room, and one simulator room with six simulators allowing students the opportunity to simulate real time flying scenarios and situations, along with multiple cubicles to allow each student a private space to study and prepare for their individual programs.
In addition to the educational areas, this new facility houses a recruiting lounge, pilot instructor offices, including a suite for program director and chief pilot, and all supporting areas such as men’s and women’s restrooms, information technology components, and guest/visitor building access.
